Respect authorship and use content with permission.
Creator responsibility
Upload only material you created or are authorised to use. Public availability and educational use do not automatically grant permission. Preserve licence terms, attribution, model releases and source records.
Reporting infringement
Use the contact assistant and select “Other” while stating “Copyright notice” at the start of the message. Include your identity and contact details, the protected work, each PencilScope URL or product ID, an explanation of the alleged infringement, a good-faith statement, an accuracy statement and your electronic signature.
Review and temporary restriction
PencilScope may request clarification, restrict access while reviewing a sufficiently detailed notice, preserve relevant records and notify the creator. Incomplete or abusive notices may be rejected.
Creator response
A creator may provide evidence of ownership, licence, permission, an applicable exception or mistaken identification. PencilScope may restore content where appropriate, unless continued restriction is required by law, safety needs or a competent authority.
Repeat infringement
Repeated or serious infringement may result in product removal, payout holds, feature restrictions or account termination. Knowingly false claims or counter-statements may also lead to action.
