Terms for learning, creating and connecting.
PencilScope provides a marketplace and learning platform. Priced offers control what a learner purchases, while creators remain responsible for their content and delivery commitments.
1. Accounts and eligibility
You must provide accurate information and protect your account. You must be at least 18, or use PencilScope through an account created and managed by a parent or legal guardian. Organisations must authorise the person acting for them.
2. Offers and enrolment
A purchase covers the products, access period, delivery method, dates and other inclusions displayed in the priced offer at checkout. A product may be sold independently or in a bundle. Publishing content alone does not make it purchasable.
3. Learner licence
Paid or granted access is personal, limited, revocable and non-transferable. You may not share credentials, redistribute files, record live sessions without permission, scrape the service or use learning material to build a competing collection.
4. Creator services
Creators control their content and are responsible for accurate descriptions, lawful material, schedules and delivery. Creator obligations, licences and payouts are governed by the Creator Terms.
5. Responsible conduct
You must follow the Responsible Use and Copyright Policies. PencilScope may restrict, remove or preserve content, suspend access, investigate reports and cooperate with lawful requests. Where practical, affected users may request review.
6. Payments and disputes
Prices, currency and the purchased offer are shown before checkout. Payments, refunds, cancellations, creator payout holds and disputes follow the Payments, Cancellations, Refunds and Disputes Policy. Nothing in these terms removes mandatory consumer rights.
7. Availability and changes
We work to keep PencilScope available but do not promise uninterrupted operation. Security, maintenance, legal or safety needs may require changes. Material policy changes will be published with a new version and may require renewed acceptance.
8. Liability
To the extent permitted by law, PencilScope is not responsible for indirect or consequential losses, creator statements, external links or circumstances outside reasonable control. Liability exclusions do not apply where prohibited by law.
9. Termination
You may stop using the service. PencilScope may suspend or close an account for material or repeated violations, fraud, security risk or legal necessity. Required financial, security, assessment and audit records may be retained after closure.
10. Law and contact
These terms are governed by Singapore law, subject to mandatory protections that apply where you live. PencilScope is operated by RAGANDYNAMICS PTE. LTD. (UEN 202634898H). Contact us using the enquiry assistant or email admin@pencilscope.com.
