Clear charges, fair reviews and traceable outcomes.
Before payment
The checkout page identifies the offer, currency and amount. Review included products, language, duration, access validity, delivery format, schedules and booking dates before paying. Stripe securely processes payment details; PencilScope does not store full card numbers.
When a refund may apply
A refund or other appropriate remedy may be available for a cancelled service, duplicate or unauthorised charge, persistent technical failure preventing access, material non-delivery, or an offer materially different from its published description. Scheduled-course cancellations and rescheduling are assessed using the disclosed dates, notice given, learner participation and alternative arrangements offered.
Digital content
Immediate access, downloads, completed assessments and substantial consumption may affect the available remedy, but do not remove rights that cannot lawfully be excluded. PencilScope does not apply a blanket “no refunds” rule.
How reviews work
Use Payment History to report a service issue or request a refund review. Provide the order, reason and relevant evidence. PencilScope may request information from the creator, temporarily hold creator earnings and offer access correction, replacement, rescheduling, partial refund or full refund depending on the circumstances.
Disputes and chargebacks
Use the internal review process first where practical. Payment-provider disputes or chargebacks may place related funds on hold. Fraudulent or abusive claims may lead to account restrictions. Internal review does not prevent either party from using rights available under applicable law.
Creator payouts
For scheduled online or in-person courses, payment may remain pending until completion and a review window. Eligible amounts are normally consolidated weekly, subject to Stripe onboarding, reserves, refunds, disputes, fees and verification. Payout timing may be affected by banks and payment providers.
