Knowledge should help people—not harm them.
Prohibited content and conduct
Do not upload or promote illegal activity, fraud, malware, credential theft, harassment, hate, discrimination, sexual exploitation, child sexual abuse material, grooming, doxxing, impersonation or material that creates an unreasonable risk of physical or psychological harm.
Learning integrity
Do not distribute stolen or confidential exam papers, facilitate cheating, misrepresent accreditation or qualifications, fabricate evidence, guarantee outcomes, or present medical, legal or financial information as personalised professional advice without appropriate authority and safeguards.
AI-assisted creation
AI may help create drafts, but users remain responsible for human review, factual accuracy, bias, permissions and age suitability. Do not publish fabricated citations, unsafe instructions, deceptive synthetic identities or private information obtained without authority.
Children and vulnerable learners
Interactions must remain professional and learning-related. Do not solicit unnecessary personal information, move children to private channels without authorised adult oversight, or record sessions without appropriate notice and permission.
Enforcement
PencilScope may limit features, remove content, preserve evidence, suspend accounts or refer urgent matters to appropriate authorities. Reports are assessed in context; good-faith mistakes may be corrected, while severe or repeated violations may result in permanent action.
